Meet the Sweet Tooth Team at Magento Imagine!

  • In just a few days, Bill, Jay, Mike and Mohsen from the Sweet Tooth team will be heading down to gorgeous Los Angeles to sponsor the Magento Imagine conference. Sweet Tooth is a Gold Sponsor at the conference which means if you are attending there will be lots of opportunities to catch up with us!


    Some things that we're really looking forward to:


    - Opening night event
    - Meeting with new and existing Sweet Tooth clients in the Magento Marketplace
    - Tuesday night event at Magento HQ

Sweet Tooth Embedded Help Feature!

  • Sometimes Sweet Tooth users can become overwhelmed with the flexibility of rule creation that they are offered. The sheer number of combinations of configuration options can sometimes make things slightly confusing. Enter, the Sweet Tooth embedded help feature.


    Within the next few days, we will be releasing a help system that provides help links beside all configuration options in the Sweet Tooth rule setup options. Click below to take a look:





    This new feature will make it even easier to set up the rules that you want for your store. Stay tuned though, there are even more new features on the way!

New Mass Import Feature for Customer Points

  • Right now we're working away on several new and exciting features for Sweet Tooth, one of which is the new importer for customer points. We'll be releasing this feature next week and it allows store administrators to import any number of customer point balances over to their Sweet Tooth loyalty program. Here's a sneak peek at this new functionality:


    There is also a full article in our wiki about the intuitive format that your text file should follow in order to allow a smooth import. And if there are any problems with your import then this new feature will tell you exactly where they are:

    This new feature will help make the switch to Sweet Tooth even more seamless while also allowing current users to import a list whenever they like. This is just the first of a new line of features that we'll be rolling out so stay tuned!

Magento 1.4 Compatibility

  • There's a new design architecture in Magento 1.4 that is quite annoying for making extensions compatible with Magento 1.3 and 1.4 simultaneously. This is especially so because I can't seem to find any tutorials posted by Varien that explain this new architecture.  Ahh we'll figure it out I'm sure! Another major change is the addition of Widgets. At least with the widgets,there's a tutorial that goes through creating your own widgets and a sample widget.  I'll be making a post sometime soon to brainstorm some possible Sweet Tooth widgets but I'm hoping the widget architecture will replace the template modification steps required in our Sweet Tooth Integration Guide.

If you want a loyalty system this is the one. There are many, many options to customize the system, you can work with products, with cart, with user actions, and more, all is simple and intuitive, the code is perfectly integrated with Magento and really well done. Another thing to report about this module is the support; for my system configuration I had contact the support and I can tell that is top class, vote 10. The price of this module could seem a bit higher but if you consider the overall quality of that module I think that is very good.
